Attention Knitters - A Yarn Club that screams witchy is coming to LBS-Yarn

The Hexen Almanac

Four Months in the Rhythm of the Wheel of the Year -

Preorder Starts September 1st, 2026

This yarn club is for those who want to experience knitting as a moment of respite, ritual, and self-care.

The Hexen Almanac celebrates four threshold moments of the darker half of the year, from September to December – inspired by Old World Witchcraft, nature-based magic, herbal lore, old herbal books, and the mysterious world of the forest.

Each month, you will receive a skein of hand-dyed yarn in a moody semi tonal colourway, an Almanac card exploring knowledge, symbolism, and reflection, and – depending on the box – a seasonal ritual kit containing ritual materials, a Witch's Tool, a self-care item, and a complementary pattern with the appropriate amount of yarn needed to complete your witchy knitwear project.

Gothic Knitter

Dyed with Love & Creativity…

My colorways and their names often carry a touch of Victorian poetry – inspired by darker themes, stories, and a love a moody atmospheric expression and aesthetic.

Every skein that leaves my studio is one of a kind and personally dyed by me – with the aim of bringing something special to your knitting project.

I work exclusively with high-quality, mulesing-free wool because the origin and ethical responsibility are just as important to me as the yarn dying process. Sustainability is also close to my heart – that’s why the design of my dyeing process is as environmentally friendly as possible.
