LBS-Yarn at Wool Festival Kassel – Colors, Emotion & lots of Support
Share
On the first weekend of July, I participated as an exhibitor at the Wool Festival in Kassel – an event that will stay in my memory for a long time.
In the weeks leading up to it, I dyed over 100 skeins of yarn, including the new colors for my current Yarn Club, “Victorian Greenhouse.”
At the same time, it was very important to me to completely redesign my booth. I bought shelves from IKEA and assembled and painted them in the sweltering summer heat. Despite the heat – the effort was worth it! The new setup was a total success and took the booth to a new level.
On Friday morning, I drove to Kassel with a dear friend to set everything up. In just two hours, almost everything was done. Then it was back to Hagen – that same evening was my daughter’s graduation ball. On Saturday, I drove back to Kassel with my husband, just in time for the festival opening.
What touched me most that weekend: the incredible support.
So many customers who have supported LBS-Yarn for years came by. YouTubers like Strickresi, Melanie & Michel from the Knithappens Podcast, Kristin from BewegtesKristinchen, Kopfwolle, Strandstrick, and Nana from Nanas Knits and Threads were also there.
On Sunday, I had the chance to do an interview with Nana, where I showcased my new colorways like “Moodring,” “Teddy,” and “Lavender.” I also presented our hand balms made with high-quality essential oils, as well as the new Yarn Club “Victorian Greenhouse.”
Thank you for your love and enthusiasm – I’m still blown away!
