Workshop Description:

Have you already started learning to knit and are ready to learn more? Then this course is perfect for you!

This beginner-friendly course will guide you through the essentials of colorwork knitting, combining theory with hands-on practice.

What you’ll learn:

In this course we will do a short review of the basics from the 101 course and then move on to the new material, such as….

• How to make a increases and decreases when knitting a shawl.
• How to read knitting pattern and understanding abbreviations.

For this course you have a little homework.

For the shawl we will be knitting, please prepare a guage swatch using a DK yarn and knitting needles that are size 3,5 mm. For your swatch you will need to cast on 22 stitches and 42 rows, applying the garder stitch method.

By the end of the course, you’ll not only have a solid understanding of more knitting basics but will also be on your way to becoming an advanced knitter.
