Workshop Description:
Have you already started learning to knit and are ready to learn more? Then this course is perfect for you!
This beginner-friendly course will guide you through the essentials of colorwork knitting, combining theory with hands-on practice.
What you’ll learn:
In this course we will do a short review of the basics from the 101 course and then move on to the new material, such as….
- How to make a increases and decreases when knitting a shawl.
- How to read knitting pattern and understanding abbreviations.
For this course you have a little homework.
For the shawl we will be knitting, please prepare a guage swatch using a DK yarn and knitting needles that are size 3,5 mm. For your swatch you will need to cast on 22 stitches and 42 rows, applying the garder stitch method.
