From October first threshold to January's returning light, each month of The Hexen Almanac Yarn Club explores the threshold moments of the Wheel of the Year - inspired by Old World witchcraft, nature, magic, seasonal living and beautiful hand-yarn.

When you purchase this yarn club you can expect hand-dyed colourways in exclusive yarn bases that are inspired by moonlit forests, autumn herbs, ancient stones, smoke, candlelight, wild landscapes and the shifting moods of the seasons.

And there is more to discover. If you love witchy knitting accessories, moody knitwear patterns, and the ritual of making something slowly by hand, you will find plenty to enchant you inside this club.

The Hexen Almanac will invite you monthly to slow down, reconnect with the rhythm of the year, and turn your knitting into a small ritual of its own: Ground. Cross. Release. Return.

The Ritual Package includes:

1. Almanac Card
  A beautifully designed paper card containing seasonal knowledge, symbolism, reflection and inspiration for the corresponding month.

2. Ritual Materials
  The seasonal materials needed for that month's knitting ritual, including one Witch's Tool.

3. Ritual Card
  Step-by-step instructions for your monthly knitting ritual.

4. Self-Care Gift
 A small self-care gift, such as LBS-Yarn hand balm, handmade soap, bath salts with a basic herbal infusion.

Colourway Details

Each month's colourway will be a semi-solid tonal hand-dyed colourway, developed specifically around that month's theme and mood palette.

The colour family and inspiration will be introduced before each monthly reveal, while the finished hand-dyed colourway will be revealed with each monthly shipment.

A mood board will be featured monthly for the listing in the shop and will also be posted on Instagram and Facebook.

In October, the boundary between light and darkness becomes more tangible, and we step deeper into the mystical time of the year.

Yarn of the Month: 1 100g skein of Ultra Merino DK, 100% SW Merino wool, 225 Metres, 246 Yards.

Colourway Palette: muted copper and rust-brown tones inspired by weathered metal, aged vessels, autumn leaves, candlelight and an autumn forest beneath the low sun.

Ancestral Smoke & Remembrance – Gratitude, Release & Introspection

November invites us to slow down, retreat inward, and embrace the quieter side of the year.

Yarn of the Month: 2 x 100g skein of Soft Sock Fingering, 75/25 % merino wool & nylon, 400 Metres, 436 yards.

Colourway Palette: dark, heavy and velvety plum tones. (Skein: 1 Semi-Solid yarn, Skein 2: 1 skein of speckled yarn).

On the longest night of the year, we turn towards the light that continues to burn even in the deepest darkness.

Reflection - The Threshold of the New

The Twelve Nights mark the quiet threshold between the past year and the new one. In January, the afterglow of this special time remains – a moment for reflection, cleansing, and consciously choosing what we wish to leave behind and what we want to carry with us into the new year.

Important Club & Shipping Information

1-Month Club: Pre-orders open on the 1st and close on the 15th of each month.

4-Month Club: The complete September–December club can be purchased during the initial September pre-order period.

Club Duration: September–December 2026.

Each monthly box is made to order and has a processing time of approximately three weeks before shipping.
